  1. Contrast:

Charlotte Collings, recruitment and retention nurse

Working in The Princess Alexandra Hospital in this role has really shown me the best of our teams, departments and facilities. I have seen colleagues progress through their careers and develop within their current roles, identifying their own unique goals for their role as healthcare support workers, nurses and midwives and providing and identifying the tools to support them to succeed in those ambitions.

You feel part of a family and wider community, where your fellow colleagues want to build you to whatever that next step is, be it learning and development or a promotion. We ensure we follow stringent processes to get the best person in post and incorporate our trust values through our recruitment processes to ensure equality, diversity and inclusion. We truly want to make PAHT the best place to work by valuing our workforce, providing our colleagues with the tools to do their job well and supporting our people to have a good work-life balance.

If you have any doubts about whether a career here is right for you, please get in touch to discuss our career opportunities and other benefits available, we are certain you will enjoy a long career with us. For more information, please contact me at charlotte.collings1@nhs.net.

Inpatient comment:

Everyone offered words of such reassurance and kindness. I felt so cared for and the communication with me at all times was fantastic.
