Anna Mae Maglinte, lead for preceptorship and clinical practice educator

What I love about working at The Princess Alexandra Hospital is that there is always an opportunity to try out different roles until you find one that matches your skills and passion. At PAHT, I had the pleasure of working with two of the best managers I have encountered in my career, Victoria Andrews and Rosemary Hewer. With their encouragement and guidance, I was able to pursue a career in practice education, starting from a secondment as a clinical educator to becoming the lead for the trust preceptorship programme. My professional and personal growth have been exponential in the last three years, and I hope to inspire the next generation of nurses to dream big in their careers.

Inpatient comment:

Everyone offered words of such reassurance and kindness. I felt so cared for and the communication with me at all times was fantastic.
