Training team

Friends, I honestly don't know where to begin with what the training team have accomplished:

From mid-April, we have managed to develop over 70 training courses, built a training domain, developed and released a flexible course schedule in time to accommodate all pre go-live rotas, and trained 96.5% of over 4,000 staff that were identified as required training. Not to mention providing 24 hour at the wrist support since go-live!

Not a bad effort for ~6 months, I reckon!

Seriously though, words are not enough to express how grateful I am for everything we have achieved and had to sacrifice together to enable PAH to have a safe and successful to go-live.

Thanks,

C

ICT Team

The ICT team have done an incredible job in supporting the implementation of Alex Health. From deploying over 4000 items of IT equipment, to setting up 8 training rooms, installing power and network, medical device integration, system integration, installing network, server infrastructure, providing application assistance and 24 hour support since go-live and being part of the team resolving over 2000 support tickets raised by our staff.

The entire IT team have been part of the implementation of Alex Health with many of the team working outside of their normal roles to facilitate this. I could not be more proud to work with such a caring, committed and passionate team. I would also like to thank the Estates team and EBME for all their work and support too.

Floorwalkers and Navigators

Floorwalkers:

Our Floorwalkers (yellow T-shirts) are colleagues that have come together from many different corporate and divisional teams. They have stepped well out of their comfort zones (day jobs) and gone above and beyond to support staff night and day over the past two weeks. They have put 'creative collaboration' into practice by demonstrating outstanding team work. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work alongside them all during the cut-over and the first two weeks of go-live. They work across many different internal and external teams to try their best to support and answer queries staff have. A very BIG thank you from me for all their hard work and commitment.

Robert Ayers, Deputy Director of Quality Improvement and Transformation

Navigators:

It has taken courage to step up and be Navigator. During cut-over and go-live I have had the opportunity walk onto many of our wards, clinics, departments and theatres. Seeing Navigators smiling back at me, looking slightly overwhelmed, proudly wearing their pink t-shirts has been an inspiration for me personally. Many Navigators have initially felt out of their depth, but they have gone from strength to strength in their skills and abilities to support their colleagues and teams.

I want to thank each and every Navigator for answering our call to action during this significant period of change for our hospital. Navigators will continue to be champions of Alex Health and we look forward to work with, and support them, so they can achieve their potential as point of growing expertise and help provide a voice to their team and colleagues. By listening and working with Navigators we'll help ensure we all get the best out of Alex Health. So I want us to pause and pass on my personal thanks to everyone that has been and will continue to be a Navigator. Thank you, you and your efforts are very much appreciated.
