Temporary relocation of pharmacy dispensary
Please note that the pharmacy dispensary at The Princess Alexandra Hospital will be moving from its current location on the ground floor (opposite Fleming Ward) to a temporary facility on the lower ground floor pharmacy corridor (opposite the Alexandra Restaurant) for approximately 3-4 months, while the current ageing facilities are replaced and a new modern dispensing robot is installed.
The dispensary will be in its temporary location from 28 April. Signage will be in place on the first floor directing people to the lower ground floor to drop off prescriptions and collect medicines.
This is an exciting project to improve services for our patients and our people.
The pharmacy opening hours will remain:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9am to 5pm, and Wednesday from 9.30am-5pm
- Weekends (as per current arrangements): Saturday 9am-2pm, Sunday from 12pm-2pm
