Patient Panel chair receives British Empire Medal

Ann Nutt, chair of the Patient Panel at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT), was a proud recipient of the British Empire Medal (BEM) as part of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Honours. 

Ann (pictured, centre) was presented with the BEM by Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst (pictured, left), and the High Sheriff of Essex, David Hurst (pictured, right), at an investiture ceremony held at County Hall in Chelmsford on 30 October. 

Ann said, “I was delighted that my family were able to join me to witness such a joyous occasion and I feel incredibly honoured to have been awarded such a special and prestigious award.”
