Local hospital invites the public to join its Annual General Meeting

We are inviting members of the public to join our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM will take place on Wednesday 24 September at the Council Chambers in Harlow from 6pm-7.30pm.
This is a time of significant change for the NHS, with a focus on the Government’s ‘three shifts’ of:
· Analogue to digital
· Sickness to prevention
· Acute to community
Thom Lafferty, chief executive, said: “We are continuing to work with our health and care partners across west Essex and surrounding areas to meet local population health need, with integrated care to support our community. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more.
“During the AGM, we will take attendees through a review of the year and our clinicians will update on significant service developments including the benefits of the Community Diagnostic Centre at St Margaret’s Hospital. This will support quicker and more local access to diagnostic tests close to patients’ homes. Our clinicians will also discuss improvements to frailty services for our community. We will update on our operational and financial performance and answer any questions that you may have. We look forward to welcoming you to our event.”
There will be opportunities to find out the latest health information for attendees and their families and light refreshments will be provided.
