COVID-19 self-testing information for staff

Following a national pilot, we are now undertaking asymptomatic staff self-testing as part of a national roll-out across the country. The test has been successfully used for asymptomatic staff testing to identify infectious individuals and will help to support the safety of you and your colleagues as well as our patients. You will need to keep records of your tests and results.

The tests are to be completed twice a week and you will be notified by your line manager when you are to start the self-testing. Information will be shared with you when you collect your self-testing kit. In the meantime, please see the information below including a video showing the test.

Inpatient comment:

Everyone offered words of such reassurance and kindness. I felt so cared for and the communication with me at all times was fantastic.
