Colposcopy

Colposcopy is an examination of the cervix (neck of the womb) using a highly magnified camera, allowing us to see any abnormalities.

Our dedicated colposcopy Suite is located in the Women's Health Unit, area A46. It has a separate entrance and waiting area to ensure that your privacy is guaranteed.

All our staff are highly trained and experts in their field. They recognise that having a colposcopy examination can be a worrying and they will do their best to put you at ease.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We also offer a results service every Friday between 1pm to 3pm.
