“We can confirm that sadly, 10 patients, aged between 64 and 84, all of whom had underlying conditions, have passed away at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. They had tested positive for COVID-19.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.”

Today the government has confirmed that a further 604 patients in England who tested positive for COVID-19 have sadly died.
Sadly, we can confirm that eight of these patients died at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. The patients were aged between 51 and 85 and six had underlying health conditions.

This evening, the government has confirmed that a further 107 patients in England who tested positive for COVID-19 have sadly died.

The patients, a lady in her seventies; a gentleman in his seventies and a lady in her nineties each had underlying health conditions.
