George Wood, non-executive director

George is the chairman of the King George's and Queens Hospital Charity and is a non-executive advisor at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals in Romford.

Previously, he spent 33 years with Ford Motor Company in their financial services division which included assignments in sales, marketing, strategy, operations and he also worked in South America for five years as vice president responsible for operations in Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.

He is passionate about the NHS and delivering a great service to its patients.

George is chair of the audit committee and a member of the workforce committee and performance and finance committee.
