Introducing our new Rise strategy to transform healthcare for our community
Today (2 June) marks the launch of our new, exciting Rise Strategy. This is a big step forward in how we care for people across West Essex. Health and social care are changing fast: more people need our services and many in our communities are managing long-term conditions and facing health inequalities. We know that our fantastic people are giving their best while working with systems and in spaces that weren’t built for today’s healthcare.
We can’t settle for business as usual; real progress means that we need to do things differently. Rise is our plan to move ahead – being honest about where we’re starting, believing in what we can do together, and committing to a brighter future.
We will do this by:
- Rising hope – looking after our people
- Rising standards – driving improvement at pace
- Rising communities – working with partners to deliver care tailored to local people
Change won’t happen overnight – it’s a journey, and we’ll recover, renew, and rise together.
It’s a privilege to lead the Trust during this exciting time. By working together and supporting each other, I know we can tackle the challenges and deliver fantastic care for everyone in our community.
We are starting this new chapter with energy and commitment.
