Alex Health is our new electronic health record, which went live in November 2024.
Alex Health transforms our ability to track and store patient data, improving our patient safety and health care delivery and administration across the Trust.
It improves patient safety and health outcomes by giving clinicians easy access to a patient’s full medical history in one place. It enhances health information sharing amongst integrated care partners such as GPs and social services. And it supports our teams to be data informed and helps us identify areas where we could improve and share our good practice.
Make sure everyone in your team is booked on to their training as soon as possible.
Please remember that this training is mandatory. Every member of your team has a professional responsibility to ensure they are fully trained on Alex Health. This will be closely monitored so no one misses out and our teams are able to continue to deliver patient care safely.
Remember you have the responsibility for making sure training is factored into your staff rotas and annual leave planning. Please reach out if you need advice and support.
If you will be using Alex Health, you will need to register for your smartcard using the RA01 form. Download the RA01 form via this link >
Please submit a ticket for any smartcard requests and attach your completed form.
Undertake the data security awareness training on TiMS before you can start your training.
