The Infection Prevention and Control team deliver comprehensive infection prevention and control services for inpatient and outpatient care.
This includes:
- An advisory service to all staff
- Training and education for clinical and support services
- Proactive work to reduce the incidence of infection
- Responding to incidents or outbreaks
- Developing core infection prevention and control policies
- Overseeing and undertaking audits, surveillance and outbreak management
