Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is proud to announce the release of a new awareness video showcasing the work of the West Essex Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP).
The West Essex Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) bring together parents, healthcare professionals, and community organisations in a shared mission to enhance maternity and neonatal services offered by The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust. This includes Herts and Essex in Bishop’s Stortford, The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and St Margaret’s in Epping.
Commissioned by the Integrated Care Board (ICB), the MNVP is guided by leaders who have recently experienced care within the unit, ensuring that the voices of families are central to shaping local services.
The MNVP actively gathers feedback from families, pinpointing opportunities for improvement, and co-producing these changes, the MNVP is driving meaningful, lasting change for families accessing maternity and neonatal care at The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust.
The video aims to inform the community about what the West Essex MNVP strives to achieve and how they work to make improvements for local families.
“It’s essential that the people using maternity and neonatal services every day get a chance to help shape the service to make real improvements. We are here to listen to all feedback from all voices and every family” said Chloe Ribiero, MNVP Maternity Lead.
Ciara Hibbitt, MNVP Neonatal Lead, added: “This has been a brilliant opportunity to raise the profile of the work we do and promote this to local families that access the care from The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust.”
The MNVP’s ongoing commitment is to ensure every family’s voice is heard, fostering a collaborative approach to enhancing maternity and neonatal care in West Essex.
