Teams at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) will mark the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth next week.
Colleagues will attend a virtual Remembrance Day service, led by the chaplaincy team, at 11am on Wednesday, 11 November. All will hear a selection of poignant readings, prayers and poems, and will observe the two-minute silence together.
Staff are also encouraged to observe the two-minute silence at their place of work.
Visitors to the hospital will now see poignant displays around the hospital site, featuring poppies and poppy hanging baskets, generously donated to the hospital by Harlow Council. The Patient Panel has also kindly displayed a Forgotten Tommy statue outside the hospital and a display table in the main foyer.

“It means a great deal to us to take this opportunity to unite in pausing together and paying tribute to those who have served and sacrificed to defend our nation.
“A heartfelt thank you to our Patient Panel, chaplaincy service and Harlow Council for supporting us in our plans to mark Remembrance Day.”
