Full Vision, a local signage, graphics, and branding specialist, hosted a charity golf fundraiser on Friday 11 July for The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Charity’s Neonatal Unit fund, raising an incredible £74,523.
Colleagues from the Neonatal Unit at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and representatives from PAH Charity attended the event, held at the West Essex Golf Club, which received enthusiastic support from the local community.
The first fundraising event marked a milestone in Full Vision’s five-year journey supporting the hospital charity, formalised last year through an official partnership. The collaboration stemmed from personal experience, following the care provided to Full Vision company director Sam Tanner’s twin daughters, Olivia and Sophia, who were born prematurely and received specialist care in the Neonatal Unit.
Sam Tanner, Full Vision company director, said: “We were delighted to host this year’s golf fundraiser as part of our continued partnership with the PAH Charity. The day was a fantastic success, filled with great sportsmanship, generosity, and a shared commitment to giving back.
“The neonatal team cared for our twins when they needed it most, and we will always be grateful for the compassion and expertise they provided. To see so many people come together on the golf course to support a unit that means so much to us was truly heartwarming. We are proud to help make a difference.”
Funds raised from the golf day will go directly towards enhancing the Neonatal Unit’s ability to deliver intensive and specialist care for newborns, including purchasing state-of-the-art equipment and improving facilities for families during their stay.
Natalie Tarrant, head of the PAH Charity, said: “We are so grateful to Full Vision for organising such a successful and meaningful golf day. It was a brilliant event – not only raising essential funds but also raising awareness of the incredible work of our neonatal team.
“Events like this allow our supporters to come together, hear real stories, and see the impact of their contributions firsthand. Our partnership with Full Vision reflects the spirit of community and collaboration that underpins everything we do as a charity. We’re excited about what’s to come and truly thankful for their continued support.”
The PAH Charity continues to encourage community support for fundraising initiatives like this, which make a real and lasting difference for patients and their families.
