Kristle Bravo, a dedicated nurse at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT), has been shortlisted in the Nursing Times Workforce Summit and Awards 2025 for the second year in a row.
The summit and awards shine a light on those that excel in nurse recruitment and retention, wellbeing and inclusion; plus, other areas linked to helping overcome the ongoing national workforce challenge in health and social care.
Kristle Bravo, international nurse educator and manager (pictured right), has been shortlisted under the Practice Educator of the Year category for the second year in a row. The category aims to recognise exemplary practice educators who go out of their way to provide clinical training, support and development for nurses.
Kristle said: “I feel genuinely humbled and incredibly grateful to be shortlisted again for Practice Educator of the Year in the Nursing Times Workforce Awards 2025.
“Every day, I feel privileged to support and guide our healthcare professionals on their journey of growth and development. Providing pastoral care, wellbeing support, and mentorship, and watching them grow into confident, skilled practitioners, is something I feel so lucky to be part of.
“Seeing them thrive not only strengthens our workforce but ultimately enhances the care and compassion we’re able to offer our patients. That’s what makes this role so deeply rewarding for me; and I am deeply honoured to have been recognised in this category for the second year in a row.”
