The community can show their support for their local hospital in the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) through The Princess Alexandra Hospitals’ Charity’s latest appeal.
In response to the requests and kind offers of support from local people during these unprecedented times, the hospital’s charity has created a simple and fast way to donate through a new Just Giving page. Funds will go towards supporting staff health and wellbeing.
Mari-Louise, head of fundraising for The Princess Alexandra Hospitals’ Charity said: “It is truly heart-warming to see the phenomenal support from the public, from their generous donations to kind feedback.
“It means so much to our hard working teams who are working tirelessly to provide high quality care for all of our patients.
“We know that times are hard for people, however if you would like to support our teams as they continue to care for patients with COVID-19, you can now do this at a click of a button from the comfort of your home.”
John Keddie, non-executive director at PAHT, who chairs The Princess Alexandra Hospitals’ Charity, he said: “A huge thank you for your support and kind donations so far – we are so grateful for every donation that we receive.
“All donations to the PAHT charity are used to directly enhance the experience and wellbeing of our patients and staff, and all funds raised go directly to the hospital.”
