If you have been recently discharged from hospital or seen in one of our outpatient clinics and have a question about your medicines, you can contact our Medicines Information helpline on

01279 827054 (Monday – Friday excluding bank holidays 10am-4pm).
If we are not able to answer the phone, you can leave a message on our voicemail, and we will get back to you within 24 hours (Mondays-Friday excluding bank holidays).
If you’ve been an inpatient at the hospital, your medical team will send a letter (called a discharge letter) to your GP practice. This letter contains details of the treatments you would have received and the medicines you are currently taking. It will also detail medicines that have been stopped, started or adjusted. A copy of the discharge letter is given to you when you go home.
