Helen Glenister, non-executive director and deputy chair
With a nursing background, Helen brings with her over 30 years of experience working within the NHS and has held various executive positions within the NHS, Department of Health and the private sector. From acute hospital care through to primary care and into commissioning environments, she has a wealth of experience to share with PAH. Helen is focused on the delivery of quality and safe care and has led ground-breaking national and local initiatives to promote and deliver this.
Helen is currently chair of Accelerate CIC (Community Interest Company) Ltd., a social enterprise, and a trustee and vice chair of Isabel Hospice, which serves the population of Eastern Hertfordshire. She is working with a number of organisations operating in health and social care sectors to deliver change and quality improvement projects.
Helen is chair of the quality and safety committee a member of the charitable funds committee and strategy committee.
