To ensure our patients continue to receive the support they need during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have introduced online video appointments, in partnership with the Attend Anywhere video platform. Attend Anywhere is a convenient alternative to face-to-face appointments, where appropriate.
What equipment will I need to use this sevice?
Apart from internet access, all people need to use Attend Anywhere is either the Chrome or Safari web browser on their computer or mobile device, and a webcam and headset if they are using a computer.
Attend Anywhere is a completely secure and confidential service. Calls cannot be accessed by anyone else and clinicians will be in a private room. The video call is free (except your internet usage charge).
What happens next?
You enter the clinic online and are transferred to the relevant virtual waiting area. The receptionist is notified when you arrive, and will join a call with you to check your details, before moving you to the clinician’s waiting area ready for your appointment. If the clinic does not have a receptionist, you will be transferred directly to a clinician.
