Before your appointment

What to bring with you?

  • Appointment letter or booking reference number
  • Medication
  • GP name, address and phone number
  • Specimens you were asked to bring


It's important you attend your appointment. If you are unable to attend we ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible.

If you don't attend your appointment you may be referred back to your GP.

Cancelling or changing your appointment

If you need to change or cancel your appointment it's important you let us know as soon as you can.

To cancel or change your appointment we ask that in the first instance you do this online. Alternatively, you can call our Outpatient Appointment Department on 01279 827391.

Hospital transport

Whenever possible you should make your own travel arrangements. Please arrange for a friend or relative to drop you off and pick you up.

If you do require hospital transport you will have to meet certain criteria.
