We diagnose and treat breast cancer and offer a range of services for both men and women.
The Breast Unit at St Margaret's Hospital is responsible for all outpatient clinics, breast assessment clinics, screening, research, breast care nursing and mammography services, run by a specialist multidisciplinary team of support staff, nurses and consultants.
We offer treatments for breast cancer, both benign and malignant, in men and women.
The Breast unit was established in 1980 and has gradually progressed to its present status, as a centre of excellence with approximately 300 patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer a year.

We also run the Family History Clinic, Regional Genetics Clinic and Clinical Trials, which includes Intra Operative Radiotherapy treatment.
The service runs from Birchwood House and the Outpatients department, St Margaret's Hospital, Epping, Essex CM16 6TN.
