The Communications team is responsible for media and stakeholder relations, internal communications and digital communications for the trust.
Our office is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. All media queries must be directed to the communications team so we can assess your questions, ensure they are dealt with appropriately and that all information you receive is accurate, consistent and up-to-date.
During out-of-hours, weekends and bank holidays please call 01275 444455 where your query will be picked up by our on-call Executive.
We will not divulge information of any kind about an individual without receiving the explicit consent from that individual.
Our staff including flexible, permanent, new starters, locum, temporary, student and contract staff members have a duty to maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times.
However there are some circumstances where confidential information must be disclosed if it is required by law or can be justified in the public interest
Interview, filming and interview requests
Under no circumstances can interviews, filming or photography be carried out on or around the hospital sites without the express permission of the Communications team, this includes patients, staff or the buildings.
If you carry out any filming or photographing without the permission of the Communications team, our security team will request that you leave the site immediately. If you need further information, or would like to arrange an interview with a member of staff, please contact the Communications team.
Proposals for filming will be considered and organised where possible and if appropriate. All proposals need to include the following information:
- Name and organisation
- Producation working title
- Delivery format
- Target audience
- When will it be shown/whether it has been commissioned
