Medical Shadowing Programme

The Medical Shadowing Programme is a week long programme aimed at students aged 17 and over who are applying, or have a well formed intention to apply to Medical School.

The programme will include shadowing Doctors and Consultants in the following areas:

  • Theatres
  • Pathology

The application window is open between 1 and 30 September each year for placements to be allocated between February and October in the following year.

Applications  for the 2018 - 2019 Medical Shadowing Programme are now open. To register your interest please email karen.kingsmill@pah.nhs.uk

What do people say? "This placement helped me so much in terms of writing my personal statement and at my interview; I really couldn't have done so well without this opportunity."
