Interim Chief Executive joins PAH

An interim Chief Executive has been appointed to lead The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust for the rest of the year.

Jane Herbert is joining the Trust next week (7 July 2010) on a six month appointment following the departure of Chris Pocklington. The Trust will be advertising for a new Chief Executive in the coming months.

Jane has extensive NHS experience and has held chief executive posts at two acute hospital trusts and a Strategic Health Authority. She has also worked as an adviser and programme manager in the public and private sector.

The Trust Chairman, Gerald Coteman said: “We are delighted that Jane has agreed to come on board. She has extensive management experience and her knowledge and skills will be important as we continue to develop our services for local people and move forward with our strategic plans and aspirations to become a Foundation Trust.”
