Independant Non Executive Appointment Strengthens Board Level Capacity
Paula Kerr has been independently appointed by the Appointments Commission to The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust as Non Executive Director with an interest in Service Quality and Organisational Development.
Paula, who lives in Hertfordshire, has a commercial background, working for more than 20 years in UK and international marketing roles in the pharmaceutical industry. She currently runs an independent consultancy practice, and has significant board experience in the NHS including most recently at Suffolk Mental Health Trust.
Gerald Coteman, Chairman of the Hospital, said: “I am delighted to welcome Paula to our Board; her experience and focus on service quality and workforce development will further strengthen our team for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead."
Mrs Kerr is also the Vice Chair of Livability, a national charity that provides specialist services for disabled adults, dedicated education for children and young people and support for those living in urban areas affected by deprivation.
Paula is married with two sons and enjoys sailing and cross country skiing in her spare time.
