Ophthalmology is a part of medicine that deals with diseases and surgery of the eye, brain and areas surrounding the eye including the eye lids.
Our Ophthalmology service covers our three main sites and is supported by three surgeons in addition to a team of specialist doctors. Most eye surgery is carried out as a day case, however we do conduct inpatient surgery.
