We are friendly dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing high standards of midwifery, personal, psychological and social care to the women and their families.
Women are booked under the care of one of five consultant Obstetricians or, if the pregnancy is low risk, booked under the care of a named Midwife.
The Midwives and Doctors (GPs) plan and provide care to women with high risk pregnancies and to women who develop medical or obstetric problems during their pregnancies.
Inductions of labour are undertaken as are booked admissions for elective surgery.
We also provide care to some women undergoing medical terminations of pregnancy.
