Security 

The Trust is committed to providing a safe and secure environment free from violence and aggression.

It whole-heartedly supports the Government’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ campaign and will not accept any act of aggression towards its staff and will push for the maximum sentence in law for those that assault, abuse of steal from the Trust.

All staff wear ID badges with their name and photograph on it. Do not allow anyone without one to do anything to you or to your property.

If you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner please tell any member of staff.

The Trust has a wide range of security measures in force for your safety and protection including 24 hour video surveillance cameras.

Wards and staff areas are fitted with access control systems, visitors must not allow entry into wards to anyone that they do not know.

Doors must be shut firmly behind you to prevent anyone gaining access or confused patients leaving.

Valuables should not be brought into hospital. If you have to bring valuable items in to hospital. Make sure that this is handed to the nursing staff for placing into ward safe.

The Trust can not accept responsibility for any damage or loss of personal property or items of value that have not been locked away.

Access at night between 10pm and 6am is via the main entrance intercom system.
