It also provides an antenatal screening service to monitor pregnant women for antibodies to blood cells that could harm their babies.
Our round the clock service utilises highly qualified staff and state of the art technology to provide 20,000 blood grouping and antibody tests and 10,000 blood components each year and directly contributes to the high standards of patient care at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
