Pharmacy
The Pharmacy department is responsible for providing pharmacy services to Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margarets Hospital, Ongar War Memorial, Saffron Walden Hospital, Sydenham House and Herts and Essex Hospital.
The Pharmacy department oversees the safe and effective use of medicines across the Trusts.
The Pharmacy department is made up of the following services:

- Medicines Information
- Aseptic Production
- Ward Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Stores and Procurement
The Team
The Pharmacy Department consists of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants and Administrative support.
Specific Patient Information relating to the department
Medicine Information is available via ward pharmacists during inpatient stays and also via our telephone helpline. All medicines provided to patients will come with a patient information leaflet.
