Other Information

The department provides a supportive role, aiming to supply educational information and advice while facilitating the implementation of best practice within the delivery of the various curriculums.

Achieving this requires activity in the areas of teaching and learning activities and assessment. Evaluation of the outcomes of the teaching quality is an integral part of this process.

The success of the department depends largely on the commitment and skills of the Consultant and Senior Medical staff who deliver the teaching.

With methods of teaching practice evolving rapidly, the department aims to support new learning initiatives and to provide a range of up-to-date and appropriate facilities to enhance the teaching and learning provided within the Trust.
