About Harlow

Harlow is a new town with all the benefits of a planned community - plenty of green space, good leisure facilities, cycleways and relatively affordable housing.

Nearby the longer established towns of Bishops's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton Buckhurst Hill and Waltham Abbey are a short commute to work.

Also nearby are the many "chocolate box" Essex villages, where thatched cottages jostle with tea rooms and antique shops. Whatever your taste in accommodation, you should find somewhere to suit you in the area.

We are fortunate that we have some excellent state and independent secondary schools on our doorstep -  particularly in the Bishop's Stortford area.  Harlow is almost equidistant between the locations of the University of London and the University of Cambridge, both of which feature in the  world top ten Universities .

Harlow has an excellent train service into London - with a journey time of around half an hour to London Liverpool Street. The nearest London Underground station is Epping about 3 miles away. Equally convenient, London Stansted airport is less than half an hour away.
